Dinka is the most widely spoken language in South Sudan, spoken by well over 1 million people, primarily west of the Nile River. It is a Nilo-Saharan language and so is related to most of the other languages in South Sudan. Dinka has a number of dialects, which are different enough from each other that they are often considered separate languages on their own.
This translation of the Church of England's Common Worship Communion service was made by the Anglican Church in Ethiopia and the Horn of Africa. Since the Dinka people aren't native to Ethiopia, one might assume that this translation was made for refugees or the Dinka diaspora in Ethiopia.
