Essex House Press, founded br C. R. Ashbee in 1898, was part of the private press movement of that time, which sought to create very high quality, uniquely designed books and other printed materials, in small quantities. Perhaps its masterpiece was the Book of Common Prayer of Edward VII, issued in 1904. The book is profusely illustrated and uses a font created especially for it.
For the American market, this was sold with an additional 8-page appendix containing some of the differences between the Engliah 1662 Book of Common Prayer, and the American Book of 1892. It is this appendix which is presented here. It is given here in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format.
