I bought the book shortly after I was noviced and read it a couple of times during my novitiate. I found it, like the curate's egg, good in parts. Some of it is quite specific to our RC brethren.

Is anyone currently reading 'To Live as Francis Lived' a guide for secular
Franciscans? ISBN 0-86716-396-8
If so I would welcome some feedback.

Hi all,
It is great to get some emails. I am Anne Moody and I am a priest who
was ordained after 25 years in the health service as a nurse and then
manager. I am just moving from chaplaincy in a retirement village of
600 people to be a co-vicar (3/4 time) in two parishes as they start to
look at how they will be in 3 years time - one parish or still two with
part-time priests. I enjoy walking with people as they look at change
so am excited by the challenge. I was delighted to see a Franciscan
email discussion site - having said that I am a bit of a twit in
relation to finding my way around websites - which topic are we
discussing initially? Having said that I am about to start in the new
position and to move so don't have much time for the next couple of
weeks. I look forward to hearing what you are all to discuss. Arohanui,
Anne
