Hi Mike...
I think Tarik gave you some good references. Most books by Francis MacNutt will help. As general books I like Healing in the Landscape of Prayer by Avery Brooke, Healing as a Parish Ministry by Leo Thomas and Learning to do What Jesus Did by Mike Evans/Wholeness Ministries. The latter leans towards the right but I found a lot of neat things in it.
If feasible, I'd consider is sending someone down to Jacksonville, FL to take some courses from MacNutt. He offers a great introductory course that covers the full gamut of healing prayer plus two courses that go into more depth on various subjects. I don't think you need to take the first course to take the followups, especially if the student already has experience in healing. Contact them and see what they suggest. See www.christianhealingmin.org You can also send them a small donation and get on their mailing list which includes an informative newsletter put out every 2-3 months.
Liberal Mennonite, sounds interesting, wish you were in the San Francisco area.
Have a great time flying with the Spirit...John
