Dear Isingoma
Many thanks for this - sad but perhaps merciful news because he was not a
man at peace when Lou and I last saw him with Enoch two years ago.
I'd be grateful if Isesomo would greet his widow from me, with my sympathies
for her and for her family - and I'll have him, and her and the family, in
my prayers. I remember talking at length with her, and with one of his sons,
in 2005 when I stayed with them in Beni - and many conversations with
+Munzenda himself.

Chers Partenaires en mission,
C'est avec regret que nous venons d'apprendre la mort de Mgr Munzenda
Methusela, l'évêque retraité du diocèse du Nord-Kivu ce matin à Beni en RDC
à la suite d'une très longue maladie! Mgr Muhindo Isesomo, son successeur,
était surpris par cette triste nouvelle pendant qu'il était en réunion
diocésaine à Butembo. Il est maintenant en route pour Beni pour
l'organisation des obsèques. Veuillez contacter son secrétaire, le Vén Jean
Bampigha B, pour en savoir plus (revbampigha at yahoo.fr). Réunissons nous dans
la prière pour l'âme et pour soutenir la famille du disparu.
