Carlo Curley, one of the world's foremost concert organists,
'the Pavarotti of the organ', will perform an organ recital at
Christ Church cathedral in Dublin on SATURDAY 7 AUGUST
2010 at 7.30pm. His programme will include works by J.S.
Bach, Beethoven, Bonnet, Bull, Buxtehude, Dvořák, Lindblad,
Mozart, Perry, Stanley (arr. Thalben-Ball), and Walford Davies.
This is an excellent opportunity to hear this fantastic musician
in the beautiful surroundings of the cathedral, and will help raise
funds for the cathedral's music programme.

Born into a musical family in North Carolina (USA) in 1952,
Curley later studied with two of the world's greatest organists:
America's legendary Virgil Fox and Great Britain's Sir George
Thalben-Ball. He was the first classical organist to give a solo
recital for the US President at the White House, and today
tours the world giving recitals.

Wherever he goes, Carlo Curley's charismatic personality
carries his concerts through his playing. He records exclusively
for Decca International and his recordings have been voted
'Best of the Month' by Stereo Review in the USA and 'Record
of the Year' in Scandinavia
