For the Feast of the Purification, a said midday Eucharist
will take place in the Lady chapel at 12.45.

Sunday 3 February 2008 - Quarter Peal attempt (12.30)
Following the morning eucharist, the bell ringers will
attempt a quarter peal from 12.30am to about 1.15pm.

Tuesday 12 February 2008 - Lunchtime Concert (13.15)
The choir and orchestra of St Benedict's College, Colchester
in Essex will give a lunchtime concert in the cathedral at
1.15pm. Their programme will include excerpts from films
including Titanic and The Mission, as well as classical
works, a prelude by Charpentier and Jupiter from The
Planets by Holst. The concert is free but subject
to the normal cathedral admission charge.

the music of Arvo Pärt, the renowned English choir, Polyphony,
conducted by Stephen Layton will perform a concert of the
