Sunday 4 September 2005 - Heritage Week Bell Ringing (14.00)
As part of Heritage Week, the Irish Walled Towns Network,
consisting of 15 Irish walled towns, north and south, will host
a 'Celebration by Bells', of which Christ Church will represent
Dublin. The starting time will be 2.00pm, and the bells will be
heard throughout the bounds of the old walled medieval city,
as well as further afield. For further details contact

Friday 9 September 2005 - Lunchtime Concert (13.15)
In association with the Cork School of Music Masters Series,
the Athen Brass Quintet	 will give a free lunchtime concert
in the cathedral at 1.15pm on Friday 9 September. Works
performed will include Giovanni Gabrieli, Victor Ewald and
Jan Koesier. Admission to the cathedral is € 5 (Euro).

Saturday 10 September 2005 - Lunchtime Concert (13.15)
A free lunchtime concert will be given in the cathedral by
Aisling Agnew (flute) and Matthew McAllister (guitar) on
Saturday 10 September at 1.15pm at the cathedral.
This is part of their tour of Ireland continues and is the
only lunchtime recital in the series, not to be missed.
The duo will give a performance of varied works including
traditional classical music, folk-inspired music with Celtic,
South American and Spanish roots, and new music from
many contemporary Irish and Scottish composers.
Admission to the cathedral is € 5 (Euro).

Choral Evensong is attended by representatives of the
the Irish Heart and Lung Transplant Association this afternoon.
