Cane-work, woodwork, and wool knitting provide disabled people with life professions that allow them to make a good income and thus support themselves. Our expert teachers introduce our students to those vocations and help them develop their skills. The products that are sold provide our students with some pocket-money.

We also have a modern bakery kindly donated by the Rotary Foundation. We train visually impaired students to use modern equipment to make bread. Convection ovens are found today in most supermarkets. With this pilot project we are equipping visually impaired people with a skill opening for them new job opportunities.

Key Benefits

  • Learning a vocation that leads to financial self-sufficiency
  • Developing skills of sense and touch
  • Developing skills in using modern equipment, hand tools, and knitting machines
