who knows our needs,
hears our cries,
feels our pain,
and heals our wounds.

Prayers of Penitence

Friend of sinners, you bring hope in our despair.
Lord, have mercy.
Lord, have mercy.

Healer of the sick, you give strength in our weakness.
Christ, have mercy.
Christ, have mercy.

Destroyer of evil, you bring life in our dying.
Lord, have mercy.
Lord, have mercy.

Bless the Lord, O my soul;
Alland forget not all his benefits;

Who forgives all your sins;
Alland heals all your infirmities;

Who redeems your life from the Pit;
Alland crowns you with faithful love and compassion.
