  Supplementary Consecration
     
    If either or both of the consecrated elements are likely to prove insufficient, the president returns to the holy table and adds more, saying these words
     
    Father, having given thanks over the bread and the cup
    according to the institution of your Son Jesus Christ,
who said,
    'Take, eat; this is my body'
    [and/or 'Drink this; this is my blood'],
    we pray that by the power of your Holy Spirit
    this bread/wine also
    may be to us his body/blood,
    to be received in remembrance of him.
     
    or (traditional language)
     
    Father, having given thanks over the bread and the cup
    according to the institution of thy Son Jesus Christ,
who said,

    [and/or 'Drink ye all of this; this is my blood'],
    we pray that by the power of thy Holy Spirit
    this bread/wine also
    may be unto us his body/blood,
