Attitudes
towards Electronic Communication:
Results of a survey distributed to deputies and bishops at the 72nd General
Convention
The Communications Legislative Committee (cognate) of the 72nd General Convention developed a survey to elicit attitudes towards and opinions about electronic communications. It was distributed to all clerical and lay deputies and bishops in attendance. The completed surveys were first collected by the pro-tem Office of Media Relations at Philadelphia and later forwarded to Chris Cunningham at Virginia Theological Seminary, who tabulated and analyzed the data. These pages were formatted in HTML by Cynthia McFarland, a lay deputy to the 72nd General Convention from the Diocese of Central New York and member of the Communications Legislative Committee. Any mistakes in these web pages should be presumed to be Cynthia McFarland's and not Chris Cunningham's. SURVEY
