I don't want to push the analogy too far - but it seems to me that there  are 
different stones with different purposes in a building.  There are  the 
foundation stones often buried beneath the ground and somewhat rough.   There are 
keystones in arches which take a huge amount of pressure and whose  role is 
obvious.  And there is the finely carved stones whose use is  decorative.  And 
what about the mortar between the stones.  That for  me is where many franciscan 
types are needed.  Unnoticed, ignored,  often hard used but binding the whole 
together.  Any way that's enough  from me  John
