I am getting more spam from the Third Order than from all the viagra and
pirate software vendors put together! Perhaps we need one list for
studies and a separate list for talking about the studies list and how to
jump off it :-)
Maybe, with hindsight, there needs to be a clearer way of giving
unsubscription instructions, or maybe people just need to learn how to
use their "Reply" facility properly <grin>.
Either way, I received seven emails from the list this morning from just
three people and none was about study but all about being fed up with
the list. May I humbly suggest that BRIEF AND CLEAR unsubscription
instructions should be appended as a footer to every mail message,
please. (Then we just need to persuade people to read to the bottom of
messages, not easy if we use the defaults of Outlook Express and
routinely send copies of the last nineteen or so messages in a thread.)
Just an idea, before this project drowns in its own waste matter, which
would be a pity.
