Hello,
 I would be interested in hearing when healing prayers, the sacrament  of 
healing, prayer requests with prayer, etc. are offered in your churches or  
churches you know of you who offer this.
 
I'm particularly interested in hearing about places where healing prayer is  
offered on Sunday mornings or in the context of another service during the  
week.

Laying on of hands (the whole congregation is invited to participate in this) is offered during Saturday night and Sunday morning services as requested by anyone.  It is not requested often nor is it requested lightly.

I know that the following information is not current. However, it may still be of interest to you.
I am a retired Anglican Priest living back home in Ireland. But when I was serving in the Church of England, in my last parish there. St.Catherine`s, East Tilbury, Essex, on the last evening of the month the only Mass offered - apart from the 7.30 a.m. - was an evening one at 6.30 p.m. This Eucharist was purely a Healing Service. The intention was `healing `and nothing else. When the people came forward to receive Communion the first thing that happened was the laying-on of hands with prayer for healing - two people were always involved working together - and this was completed with the reception of the Sacrament. It was a wonderful time and the attendance from church members was virtually 100%, plus others who came from other places. Some great healing happened, both community-wise, physical, emotional and in one rather dramatic instance- although that was never the intention - one of the unquiet dead found eternal peace. When I initiated this service it was with the full support of the Church Council ; other churches in the area did have healing services, but thry were generally mid-week and never the major event on a Sunday.

I've seen healing 
1) at the altar rail during communion, 
2) at the rear of the church during communion, 
3)  at the altar rail immediately following communion, 
4) after the end of the mass, 
5) in the sacristy where a door opened to the congregation during and after communion, 
6) after mass on Wednesday evenings, 
7) during a special healing mass.  

I've performed healing prayer in a cruise ship dining room, an airplane, a bingo game, a fast food parking lot and a shopping mall.  Essentially, anything goes, as long as prayer is offered for those who desire it.

Healing is given at our church generally in 3 ways
 

1.	
	A general prayer for healing at the beginning of the service
2.	
	An altar call when the Spirit (literally) moves the pastor
3.	
	After the service the pastors are available for prayer, although
personally I wish they would do a better job of making this clear in the
announcements.

      Here at Trinity Anglican/Episcopal Church, Gouverneur, NY, located in the St. Lawrence Valley, Dioceses of Albany. We hold Healing Prayer Services each Wednesday Evening at 7 p.m. and also on Sunday Mornings after Holy Eucharist. We have seen Healings of many types, some large and some small, but each time we pray we see the Lord at work, healing in ways that we may not have even prayed for directly, but in ways needed. I myself have been healed through the grace of our Lord. In 2002 I was given only three months to live (stage 4 Lung Cancer). Through the power of prayer and through our Most Holy Mother Mary's intersession, and God grace I am still here and doing God's work as I have been called to do, Thanks be to GOD, and The Power of Prayer.
