<h3><em>With so much left to do in Haiti, Episcopalians can take pride in the progress they have helped to support over the past two years.</em></h3>
<p><em><img height="203" src="http://ecf.episcopalfoundation.org/view.image?Id=1012" style="margin: 5px; float: left;" width="171">“I want people to know that something is being done,” </em>says the Rev. Joseph Constant<em>. “We are working.” </em>Constant and the Rev. Dr. Rosemari Sullivan have served as Special Coordinators for Haiti since September 2010. Sullivan points out that immediately after the earthquake, the <em>Wall Street Journal</em> ran a piece about the effectiveness of the Episcopal Church at bringing aid where the government was not functioning.<em> “That effectiveness continues today. The job is large and challenging, but the church has responded well.”</em></p>
<p>Both Constant and Sullivan point out that the true extent of aid to Haiti is difficult to measure because of the many parishes and schools partnering directly with parishes and schools in Haiti. <p><em><strong><a href="http://ecf.episcopalfoundation.org/page.redir?target=http%3a%2f%2fwww.episcopalchurch.org%2fhaitiappeal&srcid=2667&srctid=1&erid=282450&trid=a7f49771-59e9-4e17-98cb-3a9cd197dce3">Rebuild Our Church in Haiti</a></strong></em> is a national grass roots effort launched on the first anniversary of the magnitude seven earthquake that decimated Haiti in 2010.
