It’s building community among congregations and within dioceses. Here are some of the fun projects that have helped raise record amounts. Do you see one of your congregations here?</p><p><a href="https://ecf.episcopalfoundation.org/page.redir?target=http%3a%2f%2fwww.standrewsepiscopal.net%2f&srcid=1632&srctid=1&erid=160452">St. Andrew’s in Toledo, OH</a>, hosted a BBQ for Bricks, a community-building fundraiser that adapts to nearly every part of the country, from the land of pulled pork to dry rubbed beef.</p><p>Congregations from <a href="https://ecf.episcopalfoundation.org/page.redir?target=http%3a%2f%2fwww.flickr.com%2fphotos%2f58971113%40N04%2f5528806061%2fin%2fpool-1598247%40N20&srcid=1632&srctid=1&erid=160452">Germany</a> to <a href="https://ecf.episcopalfoundation.org/page.redir?target=http%3a%2f%2fwww.episcopalchurch.org%2fHaitiAppeal%2f%3fp%3d290&srcid=1632&srctid=1&erid=160452">Vermont</a> are using Legos to promote and track giving. Each week kids of all ages get to construct a new cathedral with the growing number of bricks.</p><p><a href="https://ecf.episcopalfoundation.org/page.redir?target=http%3a%2f%2fwww.diocesewma.org%2fgolf2011.html&srcid=1632&srctid=1&erid=160452">The Diocese of Western Massachusetts</a> linked their congregations with a golf tournament designed to help roll away the rubble in Haiti. Parishes sponsored greens and tees; local businesses donated prizes.</p><p>Students at <a href="https://ecf.episcopalfoundation.org/page.redir?target=http%3a%2f%2fwww.episcopalchurch.org%2fHaitiAppeal%2f%3fp%3d270&srcid=1632&srctid=1&erid=160452">Virginia Theological Seminary and Sewanee’s School of Theology</a> lived out Paul’s injunction to “outdo one another in showing honor. Contribute to the needs of the saints” by holding fundraisers just days apart. Sewanee honored graduating seniors, while VTS gathered students for a benefit concert.</p><p>Churches in the <a href="https://ecf.episcopalfoundation.org/page.redir?target=http%3a%2f%2fwww.episcopalchurch.org%2fHaitiAppeal%2f%3fp%3d281&srcid=1632&srctid=1&erid=160452">Diocese of Connecticut</a> banded together for a walk-a-thon, Trinity in Motion, to aid Rebuild Our Church in Haiti and the elementary school on the cathedral grounds.</p><p>Do you have a good story from your diocese?
