Bishop Duracin will accompany members on the trip, which will be hosted by Bishop Pierre Whalon, who heads the Convocation.<br><br>Bishop Whalon is leading the Partners with Haiti project, a multi-step, multi-year and multi-million-dollar effort to assist the people of the Diocese of Haiti in rebuilding their cathedral, which was completely destroyed in the recent earthquake.<br><br>The Society will also consider its future plans at the meeting, including the possibility of a visit to a location in South America in 2011.<br><br>The Compass Rose Society supports the ministries of the Archbishop of Canterbury by providing annual financial support and enhancing communication within the Communion through personal contact. Founded in 1997, the Society takes its name from the symbol of the Anglican Communion.
