[Europe.justus] Norway tragedy — please pray

Dear All.

We have all been deeply grieved by the senseless violence in Norway, with 91 people dead so far as the result of one lone killer.

As Bishop, I ask that prayers for the dead and wounded, and their families, be made tomorrow in all our churches. The following will be useful:

We humbly beseech you, O Father, mercifully to look upon the nation of Norway, and especially upon those who lost their lives in the recent attack; and, for the glory of your Name, comfort and strengthen the wounded, those who care for them, and those families who have suffered tragedy. Grant that in all our troubles we may put our whole trust and confidence in thy mercy, and evermore serve you in holiness and purity of life, to your honor and glory; through our only Mediator and Advocate, Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen.
