> Welcome to ECF Notes: Monthly Updates from the Episcopal Church Foundation
> Dear Friends,
>
> Welcome to the first issue of ECF Notes, our monthly e-newsletter In conjunction with our website and ECF Vital Practices, this is our opportunity to keep you updated on what’s happening at ECF as we continue to help congregations and other Episcopal groups develop leadership and raise resources for ministry. Each month we'll inform you about:
>
> Upcoming webinars on topics of interest
> Schedule of ECF’s participation in seminars, workshops, conferences and diocesan events throughout the Church
> New developments in the area of financial resource development including annual stewardship, planned giving and capital campaigns
> Notes about the Fellowship Partners Program and the impact of our fellows on congregational vitalityHelpful links and resources
> Other ways ECF can and is helping your local faith community
> As we wind down the last week of Advent and prepare for the celebration of Christmas, all of us at ECF wish you all the blessings of the season. Once again, we will have the opportunity and privilege of heeding the good news of the message of the angels, hasten with the shepherds to the manger in Bethlehem and welcome the birth of Jesus into our fragile and broken world. The mystery of the Incarnation continues to awe and inspire us as Christians. As Anglicans and Episcopalians we are especially mindful and appreciative of what it means for God to have become human and live among us. May the wonder, love and joy of Christmas fill our hearts and minds and remain with us throughout the entire year.
>
> Thank you for your interest and support of our work and ministry.

> Faithfully,
