C O M P O S I T I O N  C O M P E T I T I O N  2 0 0 7
______________________

+ Sacred piece for choir and organ or a cappella choir
   between 5 and 10 minutes long, for SATB (maximum
   divisions SSAATTBB).
+ First prize €700, second prize €300
+ Winning composition performed by the choir of Christ
   Church Cathedral, Dublin at evensong on Trinity Sunday
   as part of the Christ Church Festival in June 2007.
+ Performance will be recorded and released as part of
   the “Live at Christ Church” series of CDs.
+ Competition judged by Dr Robert Saxton
   (http://www.music.ox.ac.uk/staffprofiles/saxton_r.html)
+ Submission of compositions to judge must be anonymous.
+ Open to Irish nationals and those resident in Ireland as
   of 1 January 2007.
+ Texts set but email music at cccdub.ie to use
   alternative Trinitarian settings.

~ Applications should be received by the 4 April 2007.
~ Notification of short-listing by 20 April 2007.
~ Outcome of the final round by 15 May 2007.
