Sung by the cathedral choir and the cathedral girls’ choir.
Rose responses, Lloyd 'Salisbury service', and Haydn 'Te Deum',
with organ voluntary, Dupré 'Prelude in B Major Op.7 No.1'.

Wednesday 14 February 2007 - Happy Hardcore Concert (20.00)
Entitled Sacred Selections: Happy Hardcore, this evening concert
will consist of a recital of experimental organ transcriptions of
underground music. The music has been selected by DJ Sy
of Quosh Records, transcribed for organ by John Riley of St Paul’s
& St George’s Episcopal Church, Edinburgh, and will be performed
by Paul Ayres of St George’s Church, Hanover Square, London.
Pieces include 'Shooting Star' by Bang, 'Stay With Me' by Sy & Demo
and 'Power Of Love' by Q-Tex. Admission is free. Further details at:

Thursday 15 February 2007 - Eucharist & Commissioning (12.45)
The Revd Obinna Ulogwara will be commissioned as diocesan
chaplain to the international community at the midday eucharist
by Archbishop John Neill. The celebration of the eucharist will
take place in the chancel. All are most welcome to attend.

Friday 16 February 2007 - Lunchtime Concert (13.15)
The Red Robe Choir from Grossmont High School in San Diego
County in the USA will give a lunchtime concert in the cathedral
at 1.15pm. Their director is Dr Edwin Basilio of San Diego University,
who has been a director of the Red Robe Choir since 1987 and is
responsible for the expansion of the choir's tours to Europe.

Saturday 17 February 2007 - Lunchtime Concert (13.15)
The Naugatuck Chamber Choir from Naugatuck High School,
Connecticut, USA will give a lunchtime concert at Christ Church
at 13.15. The choir has been recognized for their contribution to
the arts in Connecticut and has performed throughout North America
and Europe. The a cappella programme will vary from Gregorian chants,
to barbershop, pop and spirituals. For further details see online at:

Sunday 18 February 2007 - Cathedral Eucharist (11.00)
Sung by the gentlemen of the cathedral choir. Preacher, Dean Harman.
Music will include: Duruflé 'Missa Cum Jubilo', Victoria 'Quicumque
Christum quaeritis', and concluding voluntary, Vierne 'Toccata
(Pieces de Fantasie, Op.53 No.6)'.

Ash Wednesday 21 February 2007 - Eucharist & Imposition of Ashes (18.00)
Sung by the cathedral choir. Music will include Lobo 'Missa Petre ego
pro te rogavi', Allegri 'Miserere mei' and Purcell 'Remember not'.

Thursday 22 February 2007 - Evening Concert (20.00)
The cathedral is the final venue in the Irish Tour from 15 - 22
February undertaken by Lenneke Ruiten (soprano) & Finghin
Collins (piano) entitled 'A European Journey in Song'.
The programme will include songs by Mozart, Schumann,
Strauss, Poulenc, Duparc & Turina. Tickets are €15 and €10
(concession), and available from Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin.

Saturday 24 February 2007 - Irish Association of Change Ringers (	14.30)
The cathedral bells will be rung at a meeting of the Irish Association
of Change Ringers at the cathedral from 14.30 until 17.00.

Sunday 25 February 2007 - An Eocairist (17.00)
The Eucharist will be held in Irish in the Lady chapel at 17.00. A
knowledge of Irish is not essential for attendance at these services.

Monday 26 February 2007 - Evening Lecture (20.00)
A series of five evening lectures will be held on Monday evenings
at 8.00pm in Lent 2007, entitled 'Issues of faith in the 21st century'.
The first of these will be on Monday 26 February on the subject
'Christianity, Islam and the Political Future'. This will be given by
John Kelsay, the Richard Rubenstein Professor of Religion from
Florida State University. A fee is charged for the lectures. For
