1. VERGER

A vacancy has arisen for a verger to assist in the day to
day running of the cathedral. Candidates must be fit and
enthusiastic. Regular working at weekends and in the
evening on a rota or shift basis is an integral part of this
position. The ability to communicate in at least one other
European language would be advantageous.

This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position. However,
it may be offered as a job-share should two suitable and
willing candidates apply. The cathedral is committed to
the Church of Ireland Safe Guarding Trust policy.

2. PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO THE ADMINISTRATOR

The cathedral wishes to appoint a suitably qualified
personal assistant to the cathedral administrator. The
appointee will provide assistance to the administrator
in the performance of a number of important clerical
and administrative tasks to ensure the efficient running
of the cathedral's daily routine. This will be a busy and
varied role which will require a bright, friendly and
flexible individual.

Good all round clerical experience coupled with computer
literacy is a key requirement. The ability to work on one's
own initiative as well as integrating with a small team of
dedicated staff is also a pre-requisite. The position is
full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Occasional
weekend and evening overtime may be required.
