SONGS AND CYCLES ON LIFE AND LOVE

The music department of Christ Church Cathedral Dublin invites
you to a thrilling evening of songs, mélodies and lieder by
MARIA DE MOEL (mezzo-soprano) &
TRISTAN RUSSCHER (pianist) on
Wednesday 27 September, 7.30pm
This new duo aims to help preserve and promote the art of the
song recital, both in Dublin and internationally, to provide varied
and interesting programmes and to support contemporary song
writers. The programme will include Ravel's Sheherazade,
Debussy's Trois Chansons de Bilitis, Schumann's Frauen-Liebe
und Leben and two songs by the contemporary Irish composer,
Simon MacHale, including the world premiere of 'She Walks in
Beauty, like the Night'.
Tickets are 15 and 10 Euros (concessions and students).
Entrance includes coffee in the crypt during the interval.
