An evening concert will be given by the

CHOIR of CHRIST CHURCH CATHEDRAL DUBLIN

in aid of Barnardo's tomorrow on

THURSDAY 16 NOVEMBER 2006 @ 8.00pm

The concert will take place in Christ Church
cathedral, and is entitled:

L U X  A E T E R N A

The concert will feature the two requiems of Herbert Howells
and John Rutter, and will also include works by Alonso Lobo,
Francis Poulenc, Gabriel Fauré and William Harris.

The choir is directed by Judy Martin and will be
accompanied by Tristan Russcher on the organ.
Tickets are €20 and €15 available from Veronica

or at the door.

ADVANCE NOTICE: ADVENT PROCESSION AND DVD

The director of music, Judy Martin, welcomes participants in this
year's Advent procession which will be recorded visually as a DVD
as part of the cathedral's 'Live at Christ Church' series. Thirty acolytes
are required as candlebearers, each partnered with a member of the
choir. While the service will take place on Sunday 3 December, a
rehearsal beforehand will take place on Friday 24 November.
