CONCERTS @ CHRIST CHURCH CATHEDRAL, DUBLIN
A series of lunchtime recitals in the heart of the city in
the cathedral during Summer 2006.

Suzanne Mahon is a pianist from NUI Maynooth

DUOMO SINGERS
Saturday 27 May
The Duomo Singers are a mixed-voice choir from the
UK who will also sing evensong the same Saturday.

SUE HEMMENS & TRISTAN RUSSCHER
Saturday 3 June
Sue Hemmens, a soprano lay clerk in the cathedral,
will join the acting assistant organist, Tristan
Russcher, for a series of soprano and piano duets.

ACCORDIAN CLARINET QUARTET
Saturday 10 June
The accordian clarinet quartet is composed of students
from the Royal Irish Academy of Music and the concert
will form part of the first Christ Church Festival, held in
association with the Friends of Christ Church Cathedral.

PATRICE O'CONNOR
Saturday 17 June
Patrice O'Connor is a soprano from NUI Maynooth

RSCM 'VOICE FOR LIFE'
Saturday 24 June
Students from the three Dublin cathedrals studying
under this scheme will perform as part of the
RSCM Ireland’s open day for choir trainers.

DAVID BASKEYFIELD
Saturday 1 August
David Baskeyfield, will give the final concert of the series,
and of his time as organ scholar, prior to taking up a place
at the prestigious Eastman School of Music in New York.
