Saturday 4 March 2006 - Concerts @ Christ Church 1 (13.15)
Schola Gregoriana, a plainsong group from Maynooth
organised by cathedral lay clerk, Dermot Kiernan,
will give a recital of Gregorian & old Roman Chant.

Tuesday 7 March 2006 - Lunchtime Lecture (13.15)
The first of four lectures entitled 'Church of Ireland Rebels',
today's lecture will be on Sean O’Casey and will be given
by Professor Christopher Murray of the School of English

Thursday 9 March 2006 - Evening Prayer (17.00)
Due to choral evensong taking place on Tuesday,
Thursday's office will be said evening prayer at 5.00pm.

Friday 10 March	2006 - Evening Concert (20.00)
The American singer-songwriter, Josh Ritter, who is currently
living in Ireland, will give a concert in the cathedral at 8.00pm.
Unfortunately for fans wishing to buy tickets, the concert is
already sold out. However details of other venues on his Irish

Today's lunchtime concert will be given by students drawn from

Sung by the cathedral choir, choral evensong will be
attended by by the Ulster Society of Organists.
Music will include: Tippett (arr.), 'By and by',

O Lord God' and concluding organ voluntary,
Duruflé 'Fugue sur le Nom d'Alain Op.7'.

Sunday 12 March 2006 - Choral Evensong and Baptism (15.30)
Choral Evensong will include the baptism of Megan Caroline Griffiths,
the daughter of Anne O'Neill and Richard Griffiths, both former members
of the cathedral choir. Rose responses, Howells 'Magnificat & Nunc Dimittis
Collegium Regale', Pott 'A Meditation' and concluding voluntary,
Bach 'Prelude and Fugue in G major BWV541'.

Tuesday 14 March 2006 - Lunchtime Lecture (13.15)
The second of four lectures entitled 'Church of Ireland Rebels',
today's lecture will be on former president of Ireland, Erskine Childers,
and will be given by Senator Martin Mansergh, a former special advisor

Saturday 18 March 2006 - Concerts @ Christ Church 3 (13.15)
Today's lunchtime concert will be given on the organ by David Bremner,
a former holder of the joint Christ Church & St Patrick's cathedrals
organ scholarship and now organist of Sandford and St Philips, Milltown.
He has also organised a series of Lenten concerts at Sandford which
include a number of organ recitals and the premiere of a Viennese 'Passion'.

Trínseach, and will be given by art critic, biographer and former Yeats

Saturday 25 March 2006 - Ecumenical RSCM Choral Festival Day (17.00)
As part of an Royal School of Church Music Ireland Festival Day which
will run from 11.00 until 18.00, an ecumenical RSCM choral festival service
for the Annunciation will be sung by the combined choirs from all traditions
at 17.00. Music to include Tavener 'Hymn to the Mother of God' and
Shephard 'Walsingham Magnificat'. Further details are available online.
